CO2 Systems
Carbon dioxide or CO2 is one of the most important water parameters in the aquarium, along with temperature, pH value and water hardness. As part of photosynthesis, CO2 is essential for plant growth. In turn, high CO2 concentrations can be dangerous for fish. Among others, in order to establish and maintain a perfect biotope balance, reliable devices for CO2 regulation are needed.
The CarbonDoser® is an electronic CO2 valve for a targeted and very precise CO2 supply in freshwater aquariums or calcium reactors for sea water. It has an electronically controlled valve that produces one CO2 portion/ bubble every 0.1 to 10 seconds.
