The Kessil® H160 Tuna Flora LED is a groundbreaking full spectrum LED refugium light that is intensity and spectrum controllable, perfect for most refugium algae such as chaetomorpha and caulerpa and most plants.
The H160 Tuna Flora features four efficient spectrums - blue, GROW, BLOOM, red - in one single fixture. The light is perfectly blended, with wavelengths including near UVA and Infrared (ranging from 380-780 nm), enhancing photosynthetic efficiency.

Specifications

Blue Spectrum

The Blue spectrum accelerates the growth of algae / soft corals / plants at any stage by encouraging prolific stem extension. Use this for refugiums with predominantly soft corals (pulsing xenia, etc).

GROW spectrum

The GROW spectrum improves vegetative growth during the entire life cycle of many different macroalgae (Cheatomorpha, Caulerpa, Gracilaria etc.).

BLOOM spectrum

The BLOOM spectrum increases yield by encouraging flowering during the crucial stage of plant reproduction.

Red spectrum

The red spectrum promotes root growth and productivity.

Dense Matrix LED technology for superior illumination

The patented Kessil® Dense Matrix LED technology concentrates multiple LED chips into a single array (cluster / bundle), creating a powerful and penetrating light source with wide coverage, even light distribution and natural, vibrant lighting effects. The lens on the matrix ensures that it is not too bright directly under the lamp and yet, at the same time not too dark at the edges. Penetration can be further enhanced by positioning multiple units in close proximity to each other.

Adjustable spectrum

The spectrum is selected directly on the lamp housing. Easy-to-use intensity and color dials allow the user to switch between the spectrums and adjust intensity from 10% to 100% depending on the phase of the algae / plant growth and thus maximizing flexibility and convenience.

Simple control with only one device:

- At manual mode you can instantly tune spectrum and intensity for on demand light customization:

- The quick set creates unique dawn and dusk effects by altering light intensity and color throughout six different time points.

- With an acclimation mode the introduction of new lights to a tank or new plants / corals to an existing setup is very easy. The acclimation timeline can be customized to suit specific needs.

Cooling / Heat management

The innovative heat management system features consistent light output while consuming minimal power and producing less heat and thus enhances longevity and efficiency of the fixture.
